Welcome to the historic Davenport Press Restaurant in the heart of downtown Mineola. Built in 1862 as a bank, it later became a printing company, & finally, in 1976, a restaurant. It still possesses all the charm & character of its past decorated with unusual antiques that have been collected over the years. The large fireplace in the main dining room invites you in with its warm glow of nature light. Beautiful mahogany wine racks hug the dinning room wall with wines from around the world sure to compliment every dish. Owner Dennis Liberatos has established a restaurant that specializes in a continental menu including hand selected fresh seafood, & prime meats.
