Oasis is a local organization dedicated to serving older adults through lifelong learning, health, and volunteering. With locations in Albuquerque, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Rochester, St. Louis, San Antonio, San Diego, Syracuse, and Washington-Metro, Oasis offers a wide range of programs and classes to promote healthy aging. They provide evidence-based health programs for falls prevention, chronic disease self-management, and peer-led discussion groups. Additionally, Oasis offers exercise, fitness, and wellness classes to help adults stay active and maintain their physical well-being. With over 24,000 adults participating in over 5,500 lifelong learning classes each year, Oasis provides opportunities for adults to engage in the arts, humanities, technology training, and more. They also have a strong focus on volunteer engagement, with over 6,000 older adults volunteering with Oasis each year.
