New City Parish is a non-profit urban coalition of eight Evangelical Lutheran Churches located in Los Angeles, Inglewood, and Compton. Their mission is to manifest the presence of Jesus Christ within their parish boundaries through cooperative ministries that enhance spiritual growth, multicultural understanding, education, and social and economic well-being. They focus on transforming communities through collaborative, holistic ministries and social outreach programs. Their services include a Food Outreach Program, Urban Training Center, Youth and Family Ministry, Cross-cultural Ministry, and Justice Advocacy. They are dedicated to advocating for the poor and marginalized, teaching critical thinking skills, and providing support to those in need.
